Using Bixie’s Learn-to-Earn platform, women can access grants, insurance, and investment opportunities from licensed partners to build their businesses– all through the swipe of an app.
RISE is a joint initiative by Bixie, Catholic Relief Services, UBx, Unionbank and AXA, and is the Winner of the MAIA Awards for best for profit project in a Developing Economy.

DeFi Ready
RISE women are able to tackle our Web3-based Learn-to-Earn platform to acquire the requisite utility tokens to unlock grants and insurance. This flies in the face of assumptions that women, especially low-income earners, don’t understand DeFi.
Women Transform into Owners
RISE users have a new business for at least 30 days after participating in our program, 34% of whom leverage RISE to start a new business for a minimum of 30 days after app usage.
Women Become Financially Ready
Our Learn-to-Earn platform increased financial preparedness in RISE women, illustrating that gamification has the power to democratize knowledge and close the gender financial literacy gap.
Women Increase Digital Financial Toolkit
Using the Bixie app helped closed the global Gender Digital Finance Gap with an additional 20% of RISE women increasing their use of e-wallet services after joining RISE.
